$2 challenge

Well in term two we had a challenge that we were given $2 and we had to make as much money as possible out of that money.

Who: Yasmin, Nadia, Abby (me), Nadia's Mum, my Mum, my sister and my brother.
What: We made pet rocks/paper weights. We collected smooth pebbles and painted them, we also added googly eyes and pipe cleaners to make animals.
When: We made the pet rocks on the 7th of May and sold them on the 9th.
Where: We sold them on the main street of Kerikeri.
How: The equipment we used was an old tray, my mum's paint, $2, smooth pebbles, pipe cleaners and googly eyes. The labour was four hours.

Costs:
$6 craft supplies and paint.
We did not have any float money.
The cost per item was 50 cents for small, $1 for medium and $2 for large.
We needed to sell $1 rocks x 6 = breakeven.

Forecast:
My aim is to sell 30 rocks

How much profit did I make:
We made a profit of $50.90

The Veggie car Challenge

1) You choose the team
2) Wheels can be plastic
